Bologna Vs Juventus 2023

Juventus claim dramatic 1-1 Serie A draw at Bologna

Rabiot flicks in Cuadrado's throw-in to earn a point for the Bianconeri

After falling three goals behind, Juventus produced a spirited fightback to earn a 3-3 draw at Bologna in Serie A on Sunday.

The Bianconeri were in disarray after just 20 minutes, with Riccardo Orsolini, Musa Barrow and Nicola Sansone firing Bologna into a commanding lead.

However, Juventus showed great character to battle back into the game. Dusan Vlahovic pulled one back before half-time, and Adrien Rabiot levelled the scores with a flicked finish from Juan Cuadrado's throw-in early in the second half.

Despite their best efforts, Juventus could not find a winning goal, but the draw keeps them in the hunt for a top-four finish.

Cuadrado's long throw-in from the right found Rabiot in the box, and the Frenchman flicked the ball into the net to give Juventus a lifeline.

The Bianconeri continued to press for an equaliser, and they were finally rewarded in the 62nd minute. Vlahovic scored his second goal of the game, firing home from close range after Cuadrado's cross was blocked.

Juventus pushed for a winner in the closing stages, but they were unable to break down a stubborn Bologna defence.

Despite the draw, Juventus remain in the hunt for a third-placed finish in Serie A. They are now just two points behind third-placed Lazio, with two games remaining.
